Seafood vegetable paella
Famous Spanish rice dish
- 120 gr Long steamed rice
- 50 gr Green peas
- 1 Pepper
- 1-2 tbsp Tomato paste
- 2 Mussels
- 2 rings Squid
- 5-6 Large shrimps
- 3 cloves Garlic
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
Pour olive oil into a flat pan (ideally paella pan).
Add chopped garlic, tomato paste.
Fry everything together for 2-3 minutes.
Add rice, stir, fry 1 min.
Add vegetables, spices.
If seafood are frozen add them too.
Pour in the water to cover everything.
Cook for about 16 minutes.
If the seafood are fresh, add them at this stage and cook for about 5 minutes.
If any shells / mussels do not open, discard.
Cover the paella (can be with foil) and let stand for 5-10 minutes before serving.
